Ryan P. Lynn

Ryan is an associate in the Corporate & Finance practice. He focuses his practice on representing private and public companies in a variety of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, financing, corporate governance, entity selection and formation, and other matters. He also has experience in contract drafting and negotiations. Ryan has worked with medical practices; government contractors and weapons manufacturers; global logistics and railroad companies; technology developers; artists, entertainers, venues, and theaters; commercial and industrial manufacturers and retailers; home service providers; and many others.

Prior to developing his legal practice, Ryan worked as an accountant for over five years. He began his career as an SEC financial reporting accountant with one of the largest utility and energy companies in the U.S. Ryan later worked as an operations manager for a global CPA and business advisory firm, where he managed operations and capacity for a team of over 30 CPAs and advisors, built an offshore bookkeeping team in the Philippines, and managed major client relationships. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Ryan also served on a team that helped secure disaster relief loans and paycheck protection for hundreds of small to mid-size businesses in Atlanta and beyond. Ryan’s experience in the accounting profession propelled him to law school with the goal of advising and guiding business leaders through their most critical moments.

During his time at Georgia State University College of Law, Ryan served as a summer associate for AGG, as president of the university’s Animal Legal Defense Fund, and as an extern at the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Passionate about helping his community, Ryan has worked for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation, the Georgia Appleseed Project, and People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.
