Biography
Jeff chairs the firm’s Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation practice. Experienced in all areas of employee benefits and executive compensation law, Jeff guides the strategic design, implementation, and day-to-day operation of numerous pension and welfare benefit plan arrangements. He prides himself on providing efficient, effective advice and solutions to all types of employee benefits issues often arising under the Internal Revenue Code, as well as COBRA, HIPAA, and other matters regulated by the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA). He actively assists clients with the implementation of, and compliance with, the Affordable Care Act of 2010. In particular, Jeff serves as counsel to multiple boards of trustees of Taft-Hartley, multi-employer plans throughout the Southeast. A former high school teacher and coach, Jeff serves as an adjunct professor of the law at Georgia State University College of Law.
