Daniel A. Schwaibold

Daniel is an associate in the Corporate & Finance practice. He represents clients on a range of corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and commercial contracts.

As a former associate general counsel for a leading fintech company, Daniel counseled regulated and non-regulated businesses on a variety of corporate, commercial, and internal matters. He also served as corporate counsel for a global electrical product distributor, focusing on M&A and commercial transactions. Prior to going in-house, Daniel practiced at a global law firm, advising public and private companies on capital markets transactions and corporate governance matters. Utilizing his previous law firm and in-house experience, Daniel provides clients with actionable, strategic advice to safeguard their interests.

While earning his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, Daniel served as the senior editor of the Washington University Law Review. Prior, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, where he competed on its Division I track and field team.
