Biography

April is an associate in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property practices and a member of the Retail and Dietary Supplements industry teams. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including contract disputes, patent and trademark litigation, and regulatory enforcement actions involving the Food and Drug Administration (“FDA”), Federal Trade Commission (“FTC”), International Trade Commission (“ITC”), and other government agencies.

Before joining AGG, April gained extensive courtroom experience in both criminal and civil matters. She worked as an associate attorney with prominent Atlanta-based criminal defense; served as a public defender in DeKalb County, Georgia; and later practiced premises liability litigation at a personal injury firm.

April earned her J.D., cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law. During law school, she was an active member of the Student Trial Lawyers Association (mock trial) and served as the symposium editor for the Georgia State University Law Review.
