Adam S. Skorecki

Adam is a retired partner. He was a member of the Corporate & Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions practices, and the Logistics & Transportation industry team. Prior to retiring, Adam’s 46 years of experience in M&A was an unequivocal benefit for the firm’s clients, as was his wealth of experience in corporate combinations, joint ventures, and financings including asset-based, real estate and conventional. He focused his practice in the acquisition, sale and financing of nursing homes and other related types of healthcare facilities, as well as financing for such facilities.

From 2014 through 2017, Adam served as Senior Vice President & General Counsel of Sysco Corporation, a long standing client of the Firm. In his role as General Counsel, he gained tremendous insight into the foodservice industry. In addition to domestic acquisitions, he was intricately involved in the continuing development of Sysco as a global company through international acquisitions and joint ventures. These transactions included various types of financings put in place in connection with such international expansion, as well as internal financing arrangements.
