Provider Relief Funds UPDATE: HHS Extends Attestation Deadline by Additional 45 Days

The Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) announced an additional deadline extension for providers that received relief funds on May 22, 2020.  We previously reported HHS’ extension from 30 to 45 days for providers that received relief funds to accept the Terms and Conditions related to the funding.  However, that 45-day extension has now been doubled so that “providers will now have 90 days from the date they received a payment to accept the Terms and Conditions or return the funds. Providers that do not accept the Terms and Conditions after 90 days of receipt will be deemed to have accepted the Terms and Conditions.”
