HRSA Updates (and Pushes Back) Release of Phase 4 Relief Funds
The Health Resources and Services Administration (“HRSA”) recently posted an updated timeframe for disbursement of Phase 4 Provider Relief Funding (“Funding”). HRSA previously expected to begin disbursing Funding in mid-December 2021, but it is now stating release will generally occur in December 2021. The now-closed Provider Relief Fund application portal was also updated to reflect disbursement in 2021 or as late as January 2022. This news comes as many providers already believed the mid-December date was later than desired. Providers that applied for Funding should continue to check HRSA’s Provider Relief Fund website for updated news and timeframes.
