Rich Cleland Receives Atkinson Stern Award for Distinguished Public Service

The Obesity Society, a leading professional society focused on obesity science, treatment, and prevention, honored AGG Litigation & Dispute Resolution and Intellectual Property of counsel Rich Cleland with the prestigious Atkinson Stern Award for Distinguished Public Service during Obesity Week® 2024 in San Antonio, Texas. The recognition is awarded to individuals whose work has significantly and positively impacted the lives of those affected by obesity.

Rich is one of only 18 recipients in the award’s history. Previous honorees include former President Bill Clinton and Richard L. Atkinson, M.D., former editor-in-chief of the National Journal of Obesity.
