Mike Burke Discusses Impact of Tariffs on Life Sciences Industry in Law360 Article

Mike Burke, co-chair of AGG’s International practice, was quoted in a Law360 article discussing the impact of U.S. reciprocal tariffs on the life sciences industry. Although pharmaceuticals landed on the exemption list, they are likely to face individualized scrutiny. The manufacturing of medical devices and other healthcare equipment is also covered by tariffs.

“We can expect other jurisdictions to retaliate against U.S. products — driving up the cost of pharmaceuticals and medical devices and adversely impacting market access for U.S. products,” Mike said.
