Matt Lavin Discusses Cross-Office Collaboration in The Daily Report

AGG Healthcare Litigation partner Matt Lavin, based in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office, was quoted in an article published by The Daily Report on October 7, 2022, discussing collaboration for law firms across offices in different geographic locations.

Between AGG’s Atlanta and Washington offices, Matt said the firm uses what it calls a “long hallway” to connect attorneys between the two locations, and that the pandemic environment facilitated more cross-office communication.

“It’s a very seamless connection,” Matt said. “There is a lot of travel between offices just for face time. We really all feel part of one team. We’re not sliced off-base on geographic location. The pandemic facilitated all of that. We’ve all learned that we don’t always have to be in the exact same room with each other to collaborate. It’s not only law firms, but courts, mediation, arbitration tribunals. All of it has gone remote.”
