Jonathan Eady and Althea Broughton Named to Atlanta Magazine’s 2024 Atlanta 500

Atlanta, January 22, 2024 – Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (AGG) is pleased to announce that Jonathan E. Eady and Althea J.K. Broughton are once again named in Atlanta magazine’s annual Atlanta 500 issue recognizing the most influential Atlantans.

Atlanta magazine’s editors consulted experts across different sectors, while also taking into consideration nominations from the public, to assemble the 2024 Atlanta 500 issue.

In describing this year’s issue, editor Jacqueline J. Holness said, “It’s an anthology of the power that resides in Atlanta. There are some who are naturally deemed powerful. Politicians. Executives. Celebrities. And the like. Jonathan Eady, who has been named to the list for the fifth time, is AGG’s chairman and a partner in the Real Estate practice. He counsels business and real estate clients in matters related to financing, development, investment, acquisition, and operational matters. One of his notable achievements includes developing the legal and financial model that helped transform the face of public housing revitalization in Atlanta and across the U.S. Jonathan has also been honored by The Best Lawyers in America^® and Lawdragon Leading Lawyer.

Althea Broughton, named to the list for the fourth time, is a partner in the firm’s Real Estate practice. She represents developers, government agencies, and tax credit investors in affordable housing and mixed-income development transactions, mixed-use and urban redevelopment transactions, transactions involving the issue of public-private partnerships, and conventional real estate transactions. An Atlanta native, she has created or preserved tens of thousands of units of affordable housing, serves as chair of the Affordable Housing Advisory Council of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Atlanta, and is a member of several boards throughout the community. Althea has also been selected as a Heroes for HOPE honoree, named a Woman of Influence by GlobeSt. Real Estate Forum, honored by The Best Lawyers in America^® and Connect CRE’s Lawyers in Real Estate awards, and is listed in Atlanta Business Chronicle’s Women Who Mean Business.
