“Private equity is a driver for law firm growth, because clients who receive counsel on private equity matters often turn to the firm for other legal services,” Jeff told Law 360 Pulse. “As they mature, their legal needs grow and change, and you really need to be a full-service law firm to be able to handle those clients. Our thought is this is going to be a very good opportunity for us to expand our group as the private equity investment volume starts to pick up later this year.”
