Henry Chalmers Sworn in as Chair of Atlanta Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section

Henry Chalmers, AGG Litigation partner and co-chair of the Background Screening team, has been sworn in as the chair of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section. Previously, Henry served as the vice-chair of the section.

The Dispute Resolution Section educates, promotes, and supports a system that provides resolution of disputes outside of the formal judicial system, offering the means to avoid the cost and delay of litigation, relieving court congestion, and affording a more effective and constructive resolution between disputing parties of a legal issue. The section also provides various programs and benefits for its members, including monthly breakfast meetings.

In addition to this role, Henry serves as an arbitrator on the American Arbitration Association’s Panel of Neutrals for Large Complex Cases and is the former co-chair of the American Bar Association Section of Litigation’s nationwide Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee.
