Gabe Scannapieco’s Addition to Litigation Practice Featured in Law360

AGG partner Gabe Scannapieco’s addition to the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice was highlighted in a recent Law360 article published on December 11, 2024.

Gabe joins AGG after nine years at the Department of Justice, where he most recently served as an assistant director in the Consumer Protection Branch.

“My years at DOJ were incredibly fulfilling, but I’ve always enjoyed the variety and challenges of working with private clients — helping them navigate complex litigation while aligning their overarching business goals,” Gabe said. “Having been part of the administration previously, I’m especially excited to bring my unique insights and perspective to support our clients in addressing evolving regulatory and enforcement landscapes.”

Gabe also explained where he anticipates there to be a focus related to consumer protection issues, noting the risks involved in the pharmaceutical, biological, medical device, food, and consumer product industries.

“That’s going to continue,” Gabe said, “but new challenges are emerging as industries adapt to advancements like (artificial intelligence)-driven product development and increasing privacy concerns related to handling consumer data.”
