David Marmins Appointed to ICSC Legal Advisory Council

Atlanta, June 10, 2024 – Arnall Golden Gregory LLP (AGG) is pleased to announce AGG Litigation partner and leader of the Real Estate Litigation team, David J. Marmins, has been selected to serve on the Legal Advisory Council of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). David will serve a three-year term beginning on October 23, 2024.

David and his team have developed a concentration in litigation related to commercial real estate in the retail, office, industrial, and healthcare industries. This focus gives him a unique understanding of how to solve problems that arise among owners, developers, managers, landlords, tenants, builders, and contractors.

As a member of the Legal Advisory Council, David will assist ICSC in reviewing and making recommendations on requests for ICSC’s participation to file amicus curiae briefs in pending appeals on issues of importance to the shopping center industry. Members of the Legal Advisory Council are elected upon the recommendation of the Committee Chair and ICSC staff liaisons and approved by a majority vote of the current committee members. Beyond his role on ICSC’s Legal Advisory Council, he frequently facilitates and teaches continuing education seminars for ICSC.

In addition to David’s leadership role, AGG partner and Retail industry team co-chair, Jonathan L. Neville, continues to serve as co-chair of the 2024 ICSC+U.S. Law Conference, which will be held in Orlando, Florida, from October 23-25, 2024. Jon will also chair the 2025 ICSC+U.S. Law Conference in San Diego, California.
