AGG Continues Growth in Real Estate Practice With Addition of Two Partners and an Of Counsel in Atlanta

Atlanta, October 11, 2022 – Arnall Golden Gregory (AGG) is pleased to announce that five attorneys recently joined the firm’s Real Estate practice group in Atlanta, bringing more than 65 years of legal experience combined to the firm. Colleen K. Heibeck and Hemant M. Piduru join as partners and Kelly L. Mancini joins as of counsel. The practice also added Simran Ahluwalia and Nolen Moore as law clerks. These new arrivals follow the additions of Real Estate partners David P. Ansari and Andrew “Andy” L. Much earlier this year.

Colleen’s more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience includes representing developers, lenders, landlords, tenants, borrowers, sellers, and purchasers in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing in the retail, office, industrial, hospitality, and general real estate areas. Colleen earned her law degree from Michigan State University College of Law and her undergraduate degree from Aquinas College.

Hemant has counseled clients for over 15 years through acquisition, development, financing, management, leasing, and disposition of real estate assets, including hotel, office, retail, and multifamily properties. Prior to joining AGG, Hemant practiced at an AmLaw 50 firm and served as in-house senior counsel to InterContinental Hotels Group, where he was involved in more than $1 billion in hotel development projects throughout the U.S. Hemant earned his law degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, his Master of Science in Real Estate from Georgia State University, and his undergraduate degree from Emory University.

Kelly has more than 30 years of experience as a real estate attorney and focuses her practice on commercial real estate development and retail leasing. Her clients are varied and include established national retail brands and shopping center owners (private investors, institutional investors, and REITS) and their asset managers in the acquisition, disposition, development, asset management, leasing, and financing of commercial property. She is engaged in various industry and community associations and organizations and contributes annually to facilitation and moderation of International Council of Shopping Centers Law Conference roundtable discussions. She is also an active member of the CREW Atlanta organization and was selected to be a member of the chapter’s 2022 Leadership CREW Class, which is completing its year-long leadership development program later this month. Kelly earned her law degree from Duke University School of Law, her Master of Business Administration from the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business, and her undergraduate degree from Pennsylvania State University.
