AGG Boosts Commercial Real Estate Practice With the Addition of Two Partners
Atlanta, February 7, 2022 – Arnall Golden Gregory (AGG) is pleased to announce the addition of David P. Ansari and Andrew “Andy” L. Much to the firm’s Atlanta office as partners in the Real Estate practice. David has more than 25 years of legal experience and previously practiced with two other Atlanta-based law firms. Andy joins AGG from a multinational firm, bringing with him more than 30 years of legal experience.
“The real estate market continues to be active at historic levels, and we are excited to add such excellent and knowledgeable attorneys as David and Andy to our team,” said Anisa I. Abdullahi, co-chair of AGG’s Real Estate practice.
“We are always on the lookout for top-caliber talent that aligns with our clients’ legal needs,” added Daniel J. Bradfield, co-chair of the Real Estate practice. “David and Andy’s proven track records of success with their clients further elevates our team’s ability to meet growing client demand across the real estate market.”
On a national scale, David guides institutional and private developer clients through the development, leasing, acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial office, mixed-use, retail, industrial, and multi-family assets. He is active with NAIOP (the Commercial Real Estate Development Association) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). David earned his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, his Master of Laws degree from Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
“The appeal of AGG’s real estate platform is the rich real estate experience our attorneys provide our clients combined with an ability to draw in other AGG attorneys when needed to address a range of issues that impact our clients’ transactions, such as tax, REIT, construction, environmental, and securities,” said David.
Andy‘s practice is focused on the development, acquisition, disposition, management, and financing of a wide variety of commercial real estate projects, including mixed-use developments, master-planned communities, and club and resort properties. He also represents landlords and tenants in leasing transactions. In addition to his real estate practice, Andy represents developers of complex infrastructure projects and reviews land use and entitlement matters for proposed developments. He is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2012, as well as a member of the Urban Land Institute and the Council for Quality Growth. Andy earned his law degree from the Chicago-Kent College of Law and his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
“I have known many attorneys in AGG’s Real Estate practice through the years, and I am excited to join the team and work on the same side of the table with them moving forward,” Andy said. “Their results-oriented commitment to client service and significant breadth and depth of experience are a great fit for my practice and will be a substantial benefit for my clients in their upcoming transactions.”
