AGG Announces New Partners and Of Counsel for 2022
Atlanta, January 18, 2022 – Arnall Golden Gregory (AGG) is pleased to announce the promotion of four attorneys effective January 1, 2022. Leah D. Braukman, Edward P. Cadagin, and Damon M. McLean have been elected partners with the firm, and Nick Passarello has been named of counsel.

Leah Braukman is a partner in the firm’s Corporate & Finance practice. She represents private and public companies in a variety of transactional and securities matters, including mergers and acquisitions, private and public offerings, SEC compliance issues, and corporate governance matters. Leah also advises investors in connection with private finance, equity rounds, and venture capital. She is a board member with the Atlanta Center for Self Sufficiency and frequently volunteers with Pro Bono Partnership of Atlanta. She earned her law degree from New York Law School and her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida.
Ed Cadagin is a partner in AGG’s Litigation practice. He focuses his practice on employment counseling and litigation. Ed takes pride in helping employers deal with the thorny day-to-day issues that inevitably arise and defends his clients in litigation. Clients call Ed on a daily basis for help with hiring, firing, discipline, wage payments, leave, disability accommodations, and a whole host of other employment issues. He earned his law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University.
Damon McLean is a partner in the Corporate & Finance practice and a member of the firm’s Financial Institutions and Healthcare Private Equity industry teams. Damon focuses his practice on complex corporate and transactional matters representing private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, minority investments, and other corporate matters. During the past three years, Damon has advised private equity-backed clients in connection with more than 100 “roll-up” acquisitions. In addition, he counsels public and private companies through all stages of their life cycle in matters related to corporate governance, capital raising, regulatory compliance, strategic transactions, public and private offerings, and routine SEC and state regulatory reporting. Damon earned his law and master’s degrees from Duke University and his undergraduate degree from Princeton University.
Nick Passarello is of counsel in the Commercial Lending and Real Estate practices. He represents lenders and borrowers in a range of secured lending transactions both in Georgia and nationally, including syndicated, club, and bilateral senior credit facilities for cash flow and asset-based loans, private equity leveraged acquisition loans, commercial real estate term and construction loan transactions, and the origination and servicing of commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) loans. Nick is also a member of the Secured Finance Network and the Association for Capital Growth. He earned his law degree from the Duke University School of Law and two undergraduate degrees from the University of Georgia.
