ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service Names AGG and Kathryn Hecker as 2021 Pro Bono Leaders

AGG is pleased to announce the firm has been named an ABA Free Legal Answers 2021 Pro Bono Leader by the ABA Standing Committee on Pro Bono and Public Service. Private Wealth partner Kathryn Hecker received individual recognition as a 2021 Pro Bono Leader for her service as well.

The Committee presents this annual honor to individual attorneys, law firms, corporate departments, and other organizations that have provided extraordinary pro bono services through ABA Free Legal Answers. Volunteers’ dedication to the service has helped ensure tens of thousands of low-income individuals across the country receive the legal help they deserve.

The 2021 individual attorney recipients each answered 50 or more civil legal questions and firm/organization recipients collectively answered 75 or more questions during 2021.

ABA Free Legal Answers is a virtual legal advice clinic in which qualifying users can post their civil legal question to their state’s website, or to the federal site for immigration and federal veterans’ questions, and receive legal information and advice from volunteer attorneys authorized to provide pro bono assistance in their state.
