Orlando Cabrera Spoke at Novogradac 2022 Affordable Housing Tax Credit and Bonds Conference

AGG Affordable Housing co-chair Orlando Cabrera participated in the “Washington Report” panel at the Novogradac 2022 Affordable Housing Tax Credit and Bonds Conference on September 29, 2022.

With the midterm elections approaching, Orlando and his fellow panelists discussed what to expect from different configurations of a new Congress, as well as what might happen concerning affordable housing during the lame-duck session of Congress. They also shared their thoughts on possible vehicles for expansion and enhancement of the LIHTC incentive, as well as other ways the federal government could boost affordable housing.

The conference, which offered participants a clearer understanding of how to successfully structure LIHTC deals, using bonds, and other creative ways to finance investments, was held from September 29-30, 2022, at the Hutton Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.
