AGG is proud to sponsor Mobilize Recovery 2023, a national gathering that will be held at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington, D.C., from September 17-19, 2023. Mobilize Recovery’s mission is to support recovery from substance use disorder (“SUD”), motivate and empower those seeking recovery and the 23 million Americans in long-term recovery, and end overdose. Now in its fifth year, Mobilize Recovery is an annual experience that brings participants together to build capacity for organized community engagement for people in recovery, family members, and recovery allies.
The event will bring together people from all walks of life who are committed to supporting individuals and families struggling with SUD. Recovery advocates, people in recovery, nonprofit organizations, government partners, policymakers, business leaders, brands, and more will come together to inspire and uplift the community. The event will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and breakout sessions to discuss and learn innovative strategies and tactics for grassroots organizing and recovery solutions. Attendees will connect with other recovery organizers, advocates, and grassroots allies to gain access to new tools and streamline their organizing and advocacy work to end overdose and inspire recovery solutions in their communities.
AGG recognizes the impact that SUD and mental health issues have on individuals, families, and communities. We believe that everyone deserves access to quality care and support, and we support community-based organizations with an interest in creating sustainable change and community solutions. Supporting initiatives like Mobilize Recovery 2023 is critical to creating a more equitable and just society where everyone has access to the resources and support they need to recover and thrive. We are proud to be a part of this important event and look forward to working with attendees to create positive change in our communities.
