AGG Payment Systems & Fintech Team Spoke at ETA Payments Compliance Conference 2024

AGG Payment Systems & Fintech team members Theresa Kananen, Ed Marshall, Allison Raley, and Erin Doyle spoke at the 2024 Electronic Transactions Association (“ETA”) Payments Compliance Conference from October 29-30, 2024, in Pentagon City, Virginia.

Theresa served on panels discussing Illinois’ sales tax and risks and opportunities related to surcharging and cash discounting. Ed participated in panel discussions on the regulatory landscape, addressing the impact of new regulations and enforcement actions on the payments industry and what companies can do when faced with an enforcement action. Allison focused on how artificial intelligence is enhancing payment processes and simplifying compliance. Erin covered topics related to privacy laws, money transmission, the Bank Secrecy Act, AML, and KYC.
