AGG Payment Systems & Fintech Attorneys to Host and Speak at APP South Regional Roadshow 2023

AGG Payment Systems & Fintech attorneys Theresa Kananen, Ed Marshall, Morgan Harrison, Ali Cook, and Erin Doyle are speaking at the Association of Payment Professionals (“APP”) South Regional Roadshow on October 5, 2023, from 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at AGG’s Atlanta office.

From 11-11:45 a.m., Ed will offer the presentation “FTC & Class Actions,” which will discuss the evolving threats posed by regulators and class action lawyers and the measures merchant acquires can implement to mitigate regulatory and legal risk.

From 11:45 a.m.-12 p.m., Ali and Erin will present “Data Ownership & Use: Contracting Considerations.”

From 1:45-2:30 p.m., Theresa and Morgan will host “Which Way Is Up? The Labyrinth of Surcharging and Cash Discounting.” The presentation will provide an in-depth look at card brand rules, state laws, and recent card brand enforcement activity.
