AGG Entertainment & Sports Attorneys Speaking at DreamHack Atlanta 2023

AGG Entertainment & Sports attorneys Beth Moore, Michelle Davis, and Marcus Jackson will speak at DreamHack Atlanta from December 15-17, 2023, at Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia.

On December 15 at 11 a.m., Beth will join ESL FACEIT Group’s (“EFG”) Get in the Game: The Industry Forum, which will center on the importance of engagement by both government and the industry to grow opportunities for workforce and economic development. She will discuss how prioritizing investment in the entertainment industry makes for good policy during the session titled “Leveling Up the Entertainment Ecosystem in Georgia With Gaming.”

On December 17 at 11 a.m., Michelle and Marcus will host a workshop titled “Arnall Golden Gregory Presents: The Law for Content Creators and Game Devs,” while Beth serves as moderator. The session will provide an introduction to copyright law for game developers and content creators. Attendees will learn how their contracts can preserve the “chain of title” to the rights embodied in the component elements of a video game or livestream, from source materials to music licensing to trademarks.
