Women's Initiative
Our Mission
AGG’s Women’s Initiative works hand-in-hand with the Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Committee. Our mission is to support and advance the professional development of women attorneys at AGG, fostering their success as members of the firm, by pursuing the following goals:
- To support the retention and advancement of women attorneys;
- To promote opportunities for women attorneys to enhance client development skills and expand their client base;
- To encourage women attorneys to contribute to and benefit from the economic viability of the firm;
- To foster opportunities for women attorneys to develop leadership skills;
- To advance opportunities for women attorneys to seek leadership positions within the firm and the community;
- To empower women attorneys to seek a satisfactory balance between their legal careers and their personal aspirations; and
- To celebrate the accomplishments of our women attorneys.
The Women’s Initiative promotes internal networking and teambuilding among the firm’s women attorneys, female summer associates, clients, and the community. The firm supports and seeks to develop female leadership within the firm and to align itself with the firm’s female clients by understanding and supporting their unique needs as professional women.
