AGG provides industry knowledge, attention to detail, transparency, and value to help businesses and individuals achieve their definition of success. AGG’s transaction, litigation, regulatory, and privacy counselors serve clients in healthcare, real estate, retail, litigation and other dispute resolution, business transactions, fintech/payment systems, technology, global commerce/global mobility, life sciences, economic development, public finance, logistics and transportation, government investigations, and government contracts. AGG subscribes to the belief “not if, but how.”
Responding to a Changing Marketplace
AGG helps businesses realize their full potential by efficiently advising on transactions and assisting employers when disputes arise. AGG succeeds by remaining nimble enough to answer client needs as market conditions change. Increased globalization and tougher regulations are two areas in which AGG has responded by adding practices and experienced attorneys to provide big-firm services for growing companies without big-firm fees and complexity. The result is exceptional client value.
AGG’s office in Washington, D.C., is at the forefront of regulatory changes and has built up several key practices, including Data Privacy, Dietary Supplements, Government Investigations, Government and Regulatory, and White Collar Crime. In addition, our Logistics & Transportation, Global Commerce, and International Arbitration teams support cross-border transactions, global mobility, and litigation. AGG chairman Glenn P. Hendrix is the founding president of the Atlanta International Arbitration Society (AtlAS). This non-profit organization promotes Atlanta as a venue to resolve international commercial and investment disputes.
Our History
Ellis G. Arnall, Sol I. Golden, and Cleburne Gregory, Jr. founded the firm in 1949 after receiving significant recognition for their individual achievements in the practice of law and public service. Arnall was a nationally recognized litigator and served as Attorney General of Georgia before becoming Governor of Georgia from 1943 to 1947. Golden developed a reputation as a skillful attorney versed in innovative corporate financing techniques. Gregory worked as Assistant Attorney General and helped Governor Arnall end unequal freight rates that favored northern industrial states, which brought about a post-war economic boom throughout the southern U.S.
For more than seven decades, AGG has established a strong record of helping growing enterprises become industry leaders. Today our team of attorneys, who practice in 30+ areas of law, continues to expand AGG’s reputation for helping public and private companies successfully grow their business.
AGG is committed to staying on the leading edge of new developments that affect our clients’ industries and business strategies. We’re ready to help a new generation of emerging companies achieve success.
